Hi there. I'm AB.

My path into ancestor work did not begin with certainty.
It began with grief, disconnection, searching, and survival.

I am a mixed-race Black woman living in white America. I was adopted at birth by an entirely white family; as much as I am grateful for the privilege I had such close proximity to, there has often felt like a lack of connection to my roots in the human world. So I dug and excavated and sifted through the rubble, and I found my way into the shaman side of things.

As an adoptee, I spent much of my life wrestling with belonging, identity, and understanding where I came from. After hitting a personal rock bottom in 2019, I began deeply exploring spirituality, healing, lineage, and the unseen connections that continued calling me forward.

Ancestor work became one of the most transformative practices of my life.

Not because it made me “perfect” or suddenly healed everything overnight, but because it gave me the kind of relationship I had never experienced before as a “mere human.” It gave me grounding. It gave me perspective. It helped me understand that even in my loneliest moments, I was never unsupported. And I have never been alone.

Since then, I’ve devoted years to spiritual practice, ancestral healing, energy work, ritual, community care, and helping others reconnect to themselves in ways that feel sustainable, honest, and accessible.

This course is the guide I wish I had when I was growing up, being a socially awkward Black kid in a white community with little access to my own culture and nobody to turn to about it.

I very rarely make big ass promises like this. But here we are. Bridging the gap between our world and the ancestral world is quite literally my life’s work. I’ve been in and out of the shamanic world since I was 5 years old, and I trust that the wisdom I’ve learned and the wisdom I channel will transform the way you relate and connect to your ancestors.
